Early Networking Start to 2018 for Cranleigh businesses
Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce held its monthly breakfast networking event on Tuesday 6th February, kindly hosted by the Chamber’s President, Richard Graham, at his High Street shop and cafe, One Forty.
Upon arrival, the 33 members and guests enjoyed breakfast and networking before hearing from guest speaker Tim Fifield, Business Development Director of BritWeb.
Tim’s inspiring talk, called ‘Digital Marketing for the Terrified’, was both highly entertaining and informative.
After asking the audience if they were a ‘Gavin’ or an ‘Annabelle’ regarding their approach to digital marketing, Tim outlined the vital importance of getting digital marketing right, and how to avoid social media errors, to attract new and retain existing customers.
SEO, Blogs, PPC, UX-CRO, links, e-marketing and video were amongst the issues discussed.
Tim also presented everyone with his 6-step guide on “Where to Start”. He kindly conducted a question and answer session after his talk, which everyone enjoyed.
The next breakfast networking event will be held on Wednesday, 14th March at 7.30am at The Richard Onslow.
The speaker for this event will be Peter Stevens of TWM Solicitors. Peter will be discussing the critically important new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with which all businesses, social enterprises, and any organisation holding address lists are legally required to comply.
Open to members and non-members, this is not one to miss!
