Review of Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles – Public Consultation

Waverley Borough Council is consulting on the update of the Council’s Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles 2019-21 and would like your feedback.

The Gambling Act 2005 requires the Council as licensing authority to prepare and publish a Statement of Principles every three years. The existing Statement of Gambling Policy was published in January 2016 and is due for review by January 2019.

Waverley wants to consult with residents, local businesses, associated trade bodies, responsible authorities and other stakeholders, to hear your views on the new draft Statement Gambling Policy – see link below with amendments highlighted.
