Cranfold Job Seekers
Despite its name, the club is best described as a voluntary jobcentre, in that clients come to the Club seeking employment assistance, and Club staff (all volunteer) endeavour to help clients to find suitable employment; the Club also provides CVs, interview training and assistance with employment applications; the Club does not give advice. The Club is also willing to advertise employers’ job vacancies, and bring them to the client’s notice. The Club is not part of the State Employment Service, but is an independent charity; its services are free to all. As far as can be seen, in terms of the service it provides, the Club is unique in Surrey, and rare anywhere.
