Breakfast networking meeting – June 2016

15th June 2016 @ 07:30 - 09:00

Our June networking breakfast takes us to the Reading Room at Cranleigh School.

Join us for a delicious breakfast, networking with Chamber members and an informative talk by Cranleigh School headmaster Martin Reader, about the business of education.

Martin Reader was educated at University College, Oxford, where he was an Exhibitioner in English and English Literature. He continued at Oxford reading for an MPhil in English Studies (1100-1500).

Whilst at Oxford, he played for the university at rugby and was on the bench at the Varsity Match. He also has an MBA in School Leadership International from Hull University.

Martin began his teaching career at St Edward’s Oxford, before moving to Oundle School and then to Reigate Grammar School where he was Senior Deputy Head.  Prior to moving to Cranleigh, he was Headmaster of Wellington School, Somerset for eight years.

Martin is married to Amanda and they have two children who are both educated at Cranleigh. He remains a sports fan and is also a co-opted trustee of the Hawk and Owl Trust.

Space at this breakfast meeting is strictly limited due to the nature of the special venue.

Tickets must be reserved and paid for in advance, at £12 each for members of Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce. A small number of tickets are also available for non-members at £15 each.

Cranleigh School have kindly offered attendees at this breakfast event a guided tour of the school immediately after the breakfast meeting. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore this historic local building. If you would like to participate in the guided tour, please email hello@cranleighbiz.co.uk when making your booking so we can add your name ot the list.

We look forward to seeing you at this breakfast meeting.
