John is managing director of Soho Estates. The estate covers large parts of Soho, and tenants reflect the vibrant mix found in London’s creative heart, including restaurants, bars and clubs, hotels, independent retailers, residential flats, and offices.
John joined Soho Estates in 1986 and was appointed head of estates in 1989. He was appointed director in 1990 and became the managing director in 2010.
He is also the owner of the Holdhurst Farm Estate in Cranleigh and president of Cranleigh & South Eastern Agricultural Society, responsible for the Cranleigh Show.
As part of our annual dinner, John has kindly agreed to take part in an after-dinner Q&A session with Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce president Rosemary French OBE.
The annual dinner is open to members and non-members, and tickets are only £25 each.
Partners are very welcome. Space at this event is limited and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

The dinner will be preceded by our Annual General Meeting which is open to members only.
Members are encouraged to attend the AGM, which will be conducted as swiftly as possible, where the annual accounts will be presented and officers elected.
