SantaDash

Cranleigh Santa Dash 2017 is now SOLD OUT. No entries available on the day.

Rotary Club of Cranleigh, Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce and Cranleigh Sunflowers are hosting the Cranleigh Santa Dash at 10am on Sunday 10th December 2017.

Kids and adults can run, jog or walk 5km, with a 10km route just for the grown-ups. This fun run starts and finishes in Stocklund Square with the route using the Downs Link and Snoxhall Fields.

Every participant will get a bespoke Santa Dash medal and a Santa Hat to keep. Santa Suits will also be available to purchase on the day – first come, first served!

There is an overall entry cap of 200, so please enter early to avoid disappointment.

First aid cover will be provided and there will be an official photographer taking photos during the run.

All funds raised from this event will be donated by Rotary Club of Cranleigh to the local primary schools (Park Mead, Cranleigh Infants, St Cuthbert Mayne and Ewhurst Infants).

Thank you to our main sponsor, Informed Choice Independent Financial Planners, for making this event possible and making sure all entry fees can go directly to the fundraising causes.

Entry is just £5 per adult, £3.50 per child or £15 per family (maximum two adults and three children).

Frequently asked questions

Can children run on their own?

All children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times on the course.

Are there any roads to cross?

The course crosses Knowle Lane twice (out and back) and this road crossing will be heavily marshaled. Please follow the instructions of the marshals carefully.

Are dogs allowed?

No dogs are permitted at this event.

Do I have to dress up?

We encourage you to dress up in Santa hats, Santa Suits or other festive clobber, although it’s not compulsory. There will be a prize for the best Christmas outfit! Don’t forget that every entrant gets a free Santa hat as part of their ticket price.

Are there prizes for the fastest runners?

This is a fun run, not a race. By all means be as competitive as you like, but we won’t be timing you or giving out prizes for the fastest kids, men and women.

Can I wear headphones/listen to music?

Please leave your headphones/iPods at home and enjoy the run. It’s important you can hear the instructions of our marshals, especially at the road crossing.

What time does it start?

We will be starting promptly at 10am in Stocklund Square. Please make you have registered and collected your number (and Santa Hat!) by 9.45am at the latest. A mass warmup will be led by Lucy Bushnell from Cranleigh Sunflowers followed by a safety briefing and a countdown from a special guest starter.

Can I enter on the day?

No entries will be available on the day and online entries close at midnight on 30th November 2017, or earlier when the entry cap is reached.
