Small Business Rate Relief Extended

The Government last week extended the Small Business Rate Relief scheme for another 12 months to April 2017.

This means many of the UK’s smallest businesses will continue to receive 100% relief from business rates, with around a further 200,000 benefiting from tapering relief.

The Government is likely to conclude its wider business rates review this year with findings due after next year’s Budget.
