Cranleigh Lions Presentation Evening

Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce was delighted to accept an invitation from to attend their Presentation Evening at Cranleigh School.

The event was a celebration of another successful year for the Lions, along with a recognition of the support they, and many other local charities, receive from the Cranleigh community.

One of the biggest fundraising events hosted by the Cranleigh Lions each year is the at the Cranleigh Showground. Last year they welcomed around 2,000 classic cars, making it one of the biggest shows of its kind in the South East.

At the Presentation Evening last night, Cranleigh Lions gave a cheque for £2,000 to each of the following local charities, from the Classic Car Show profits:

It was brilliant to hear the stories of some individuals using Rowleys, Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled and Shooting Star Chase at the Presentation Evening, with some of the speeches bringing a tear to our eyes.

Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce are pleased to support Cranleigh Lions as they endeavour to raise funds for the local community and look forward to continuing to work together in the future.
